  17. I have been trying to connect two 486 PCs using Kermit 3.14.

  19. When I type 'c' to connect, I get a frozen screen. I am using a null
  20. modem cable which has 2 9pin and 2 25pin connectors (which allows
  21. connection to com1 or com2). I have checked the cable using Dos
  22. Interlnk.
  23. I have set the port speeds on both PC's using the Dos mode command to
  24. 9600 and then set the port speeds in Kermit to 9600. I have tried both
  25. com ports with no luck.

  27. Do both PC's need to be running Kermit ?
  28. I have successfully used Kermit to dial out through my modem but I just
  29. get a blank screen when I try to connect to the other PC.
  30. Any ideas what I am doing wrong ?
